The postmodern education movement would be beneficial to people and society, according to Brian Howard, principal and CEO of Covenant Christian High School. He gave an hour-long presentation, “Tolerating Men Without Chests: Education in a Postmodern World. The name of his presentation was a reference to an essay from “Abolition of Man,” written by C.S. Lewis, who wrote much about education.
“When we’re talking about postmodern education, C.S. Lewis is kind of prophetic,” Howard said in his presentation. “(“Abolition of Man”) is the best short work … on postmodern education I’ve ever read.”
